Two Months Old

Sorry, not so creative with the titles. We just had our two month check up and little Georgia is 12 lbs. 13 oz. and 24 1/4 inches, 74th and 97th percentiles respectively. She is smiling more and more and slept 8 hours straight the past two nights, most likely because of her recent immunizations. The look on her face when that first needle went in... priceless! We both cried a bit but recovered quickly and were back to our busy schedule of eating, walks, stand-up exercises and sleeping. It isn't easy being a newborn!
We just bid farewell to my sister and our nephew/cousin Lyell. My sister did an amazing job summarizing their visit on her blog: http://themarcisfamily.blogspot.com. Hilarious!
Here are some other highlights from month #2:

Outgrowing her newborn clothes... the flying squirrel!
Her first trip on the boat
Taking after her dad
Her shirt reads "Daddy Makes Me Smile"... So true! Getting out of her swaddle blanket. This is what we wake up to every morning.

One Month Old

Okay, so she is actually 2 months old today but my computer was broken so I haven't been able to post anything for some time. The first month was everything everyone said it would be, amazing, challenging, fun, crazy, and more. She had her first Christmas, started smiling, put on 2.5 pounds, lost the hair on the top of herhead, celebrated New Years with lots of fireworks, grew an inch, and stole the hearts of your mom and dad. Here it is in pictures in no particular order.

Whew, what do you have in store for the second month?
